Two days ago I conducted one of my home workout sessions with my mom. We started off the session with a 15 minute run around our street to warm up. Then we did strength exercises like sit ups and wall sits and half push ups. I realized today that i cannot do a full push up was was slightly disappointed in myself, However, I have made it a pointed goal to myself to, by the end of these few months, develop the upper arm strength and perhaps even loose adequate weight to ensure that I can do at least 5 push ups. I think it is important for me to set goals for myself in this way so that I am constantly striving to be better. Perhaps another goal of mine in the future will be to do 5 chin-ups for that is another body-weight exercise that i cannot do. We also found that we got very tired very quickly and couldn't keep consistent energy throughout. To tackle this, i have decided to develop a workout playlist of songs with high energy that I will play through my speakers as we work out to help us maintain our energy levels and rhythm. Another thing that i recognized was that because I didn't eat lunch, I had got lightheaded very quickly because I did not have the caloric requirements to keep me functioning for the day. So i decided that I will also make myself a meal plan of sorts to partner with this exercise regimen to ensure that I am healthy in a more well-rounded sense.
