Recently for good morning twigas we produced a void about ISSEA Basketball - the largest sports tournament for international schools in Africa as it was being hosted by IST. For this video, we took a totally different turn in terms what we are producing creatively. Where we usually go with the side of comedy - skits, parodies, and the like. However, this time we wanted to make something a lot more serious and heart-felt and hopefully - moving. This was a very different experience for us as script writers and also just as directors. The main actor for the video was jean-bruce and we filmed it during his ISSEA practice. We had a few troubles because we felt like we were perhaps interfering with his practice time which we didn’t mean to s we kind of struggled to maintained the balance of giving him and his team time to practice and respect enough not to distract them when they were really trying to focus. Additionally, we worked a very long day () from about 8:30 in the morning to 12:45 in the afternoon). I was so, so, exhausted by the end of it and so were the other two leaders but we kept pushing through and trying to get everything done as efficiently as possible. Anticipating this kind of trouble, we made a table with all the shots/scenes that we needed to do, where we would do them, what props where needed and what people were needed. Brook printed out this table and we used it as a sort of checklist to guide us along. Though this was definitely one of the harder videos we have had to film - we were very happy with the result as it made us feel like we had really showed our thanks to all the players that played for us in ISSEA. We are very proud of them and hope that they feel that through this video.
